Realme PUBG Gaming Championship 2020

Introduction

As Pakistan’s Esports industry grew, NGES approached Realme and encouraged them to join in, host an Esports competition for young people, and promote their smartphone line. Following a constructive discussion, Realme and NGES agreed to organize the Realme PUBG Gaming Championship, an online PUBG tournament.

Realme Gaming Championship 2020

This was the first PUBG tournament NGES conducted that had a significant brand presence. Casual, as well as Esports players from around the country, signed up for the competition. In three online qualifiers in January 2020, competitors fought ferociously for the opportunity to be crowned champions. The tournament was streamed live on Realme’s social channels.

NGES was in charge of all the league operations for the tournament, managing registrations, matches, and all the necessary functions of an Esports Agency. Moreover, NGES also broadcasted the whole event on Youtube and other social networks.

PUBG Tournament

250+ teams registered for the PUBG tournament. We saw some intense battles at the Grand Finale of the Realme Gaming Championship as squads went head to head against each other in competitive battles. Big teams like R3D, i8 Esports, and QWERTY participated in the tournament.

i8 Esports won the PUBG Championship in a spectacular demeanor and won Realme flagship gaming phones.

Conclusion

The Realme Gaming Championship winners and NGES received formal invitations to the Lahore Realme Launch Event. The winners received cash prizes and Realme gaming phones. The CEO of Next Generation Esports, Ozair Ahmed, was also invited to the stage to receive a Realme smartphone as a token of appreciation at the Launch Event.
