The Free Fire Pakistan League III took place in Feb 2022. This edition was the biggest FFPL so far. For this event, Free Fire partnered with Game Bird, Pakistan’s first ESports portal, as the title sponsor and Infinix co-sponsor.
The Free Fire Pakistan League, which has already established itself as a significant Esports League in Pakistan, received more registrations than its previous two seasons. Teams from throughout the country competed for the title of Champion of the biggest Free Fire League in Pakistan.
The Grand Final of FFPL II took place at Avenues Marquee in Lahore. Exciting activities like spin the wheel, bowling, and game arenas were set up to engage the audience. Bilal Khan and Aleem RK performed the theme song, ‘Naye Daur kay Champions’ at the event.
NGES executed the whole event impeccably, from the big things like sourcing and logistics of equipment to the travel and accommodation of guests, managing league operations, the matches, scoring, insurance of stable internet, and the media setup for the event.
Many celebrities like Tabish Hashmi, Nadir Ali, Aiman Khan, Shahzad Khan, and Ukhano attended the event to support the ESports ecosystem in the country. Free Fire representatives from Vietnam, including Binh, the country head, Tram, Steven, and Hayley, who handle the marketing department, attended the event. Moreover, executives from Telenor and Infinix were also present.
ESports Teams from all over the country competed for a prize pool of 1 Crore PKR. The FFPL III prize pool was divided down to the top 18 teams, with the winning team taking home prize money of 35 LACS PKR.
Team House of Blood, which holds a cult following among Free Fire audiences, won the tournament, securing their spot in Free Fire World Series 2022.
