FFPL II

Following the massive success of FFPL I, many brands were interested in entering the ESports scene in Pakistan. Hence, NGES once again made the necessary moves and brought onboard Bigo Live as the title sponsor and Infinix as co-sponsor for FFPL II.

Moreover, Fawad Chaudhry endorsed the event and met with the finalists before the event to discuss the future of ESports in the country. With the ESports scene growing in Pakistan, many celebrities like Umair Jaswal, Junaid Akram, Bekaar Films, and Shahzad Khan attended the event.

The event was set in a grand demeanor at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi and was attended by 1500+ people. Umair Jaswal performed the event’s anthem, “Gaming kay Nawaab” with spectacular energy.

NGES executed the event with utmost perfection right up from the fabrication of the grand stage, sourcing, and logistics of technical and camera equipment to crucial parameters such as internet and security. It was broadcasted live on Youtube and other social platforms by NGES. FFPL II was exponentially bigger than its previous edition and was executed better than before by the personnel of the ESports solutions company, NGES.

Prize Pool

The FFPL II prize pool was 1 Crore PKR, the highest-ever for an ESports Tournament in Pakistan, with the Champion team taking home a whopping 35 LACS PKR. Teams up to 18 positions also received a generous portion of the prize pool.

Conclusion

Team Hotshot won the tournament and thus qualified for Free Fire Asian Championship, an event in the replacement of the Free Fire World Series, which was canceled due to COVID restrictions.
