Ocean Mall Summer Fest ’22

Introduction

As the COVID restrictions lifted, people started coming out of their homes. However, due to the long retreat at home and the severity of COVID, people were still scared to visit public places. Ocean Mall Karachi wanted to tackle this challenge and host an event: “Ocean Mall Summer Fest ’22” that could attract the masses and engage them at a fun event. Ocean Mall sat with NGES once again to hack a plan and came up with an idea to organize a 3-day Esports tournament at the mall, Ocean Mall Summer Fest.

Ocean Mall Esports Summer Fest Tournament

Ocean Mall Esports Summer Fest once again gathered gamers of all platforms from across the city to compete in FIFA, Free Fire, and CS GO tournaments for a prize pool of 1 LAC PKR. 500+ people registered for the tournament. There was great footfall at the tournament and families, and youth actively engaged at the event.

NGES made all the necessary arrangements for the tournament and took necessary steps to tackle the COVID situation, including the sourcing and logistics of the gaming equipment, consoles, and internet, conducting matches, and all the League Operations for the tournament that spanned across 3 days.
